Surfdusters At The Commodore

Nervous Fellas with the Surfdusters Commodore Vancouver Canada

Thanks to Mark Twang guitarist for the fantastic Vancouver Rockabilly Band the Nervous Fellas for including The Surfdusters on this show at Vancouver, Canada’s legendary Commodore Ballroom on July 25, 1991.

That night we played a hot set with a 1000’s + people bouncing up and down to our tunes on the sprung hardwood floor.

It was a break-thru gig for us resulting in some good reviews and lots gig offers – and many more shows at the Commodore including 2 opening slots for Dick Dale.

Surfdusters Story from Southern & Rockin Music Part One

“Here’s Part One of The Surfdusters story as published in the German roots rock magazine Southern & Rockin’ Music #15 1996. Both parts of The Surfdusters story cover the band’s history from its formation up to the release of the first CD ‘Raincoast Rumble’ and coming on board of Scott Smith – lead guitarist from 1996 till the band’s last gig in 2001. This story was also published in my instrumental fanzine Livewire Issues 11 and 12 (1996) and reprinted in the UK instro magazine Pipeline #47 in 2000.”
